Smart Import handles the full Indian CA workflow: PDF, JPG/JPEG/PNG, XLSX, CSV and XML — up to 50MB per file. Every page is read individually for accuracy. Spreadsheets and CSV open a column-mapping step, so you confirm which column is the debit before anything is posted. Bank statements are detected by filename or page count.

Our Desktop Connector has an offline-first event journal with transactional idempotency. Any voucher created while offline is queued locally in encrypted storage and synced automatically once connection restores. No duplicates, no missing voucher numbers, zero data loss.

Each license unlocks 1 company slot with unlimited users, full double-entry accounting, 2-way desktop connector sync, and AI OCR processing. Accounting firms can purchase volume bundles (5, 10, 25, 50+ slots) with volume tiers up to 12% discount. Slots can be reallocated across client companies as clients onboard or offboard.

Our OCR engine uses multi-layer verification specifically trained on Indian GST invoice formats, tax breakdowns (CGST/SGST/IGST), and Indian bank statement formats. Low-confidence lines are highlighted in an exception queue for 1-click human verification before ledger entry, keeping books 100% clean.*

All data stays in India on our own private infrastructure (Inidea) — no overseas transfer. Ledgers are encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS) and are never used to train public AI models. You retain full ownership.

Encrypted PDFs are detected via pdfinfo. We first try passwords you’ve used before for that company; if none work we prompt you once in the UI and re-process automatically. Decryption is done securely server-side (Ghostscript/pdftocairo) and the file is stored decrypted for OCR.

It means that staging batch is already approved / processing / completed — usually from a double-click or another tab. Just refresh the pending list; the item is safely queued and will complete without re-import.

Every accepted match or manual correction strengthens a CompanyContext pattern (token coverage × confidence × frequency). High-confidence patterns (95% for manual) are reused instantly; weak patterns are pruned. Your books get smarter per voucher — no global model training.
